It’s easy to forget about other things when there was a bombing today in Boston but it should be a reminder that no matter where we are or come from, we’re all the same. There were tons of bombings in Iraq and they deal with this on a regular basis but that doesn’t mean it diminishes what happened in Boston today. My thoughts are with everyone that was affected by the bombings in Boston AND in Iraq and I hope one day we can live in a world where this is NO ONE’S norm.
I love this. Today’s events are tragic and the outpouring of support is wonderful to see, but it’s also critical to remember that things like this happen every day all over the world and we should be fighting for peace everywhere, not just where it affects us the most.
